2023: Gov  AbdulRazaq’s Second Term Agenda, a done deal – Hon. Owolab
The member representing Share/Oke-Ode Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Owolabi Olatunde Razaq, says Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s second term in office is a done deal.

Speaking with some selected journalists in his office on Monday, the Honourable who is the chairman of the House Committee on Health and Environment stated that with the ongoing development in the state, residents of Kwara will gladly vote for Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for a second term.

He assured that the internal crisis rocking the ruling party in the state will not affect its fortunes at the polls, pointing out that the perceived crisis has nothing to do with the development of Kwara.

In his words, “Let me tell you something, there is crisis but it will never affect the party in the forthcoming elections. I can assure you that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is the leader of the APC in Kwara State and there’s no controversy about that.

“What is happening in the state is a clash of interests which has nothing to do with the development of Kwara. Individual interest is not the same as the interest of developing Kwara.

“Before I came onboard I thought we will be packing money with Ghana-Must-Go bags that was my thinking but when we got there it was a different thing we met. And this is because Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is not a thief.

“He is not ready to pack money with Ghana-Must-Go bags. And since the leader is not ready to steal money the followers must behave too so that they won’t be stoned. That’s what caused the fight in the first place.”

The Lawmaker who said he has been in politics since 1999 stressed that it is not possible to compare what is happening in Kwara right now to what was obtainable before now.

He lauded the efforts of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq stressing that the new wave of development in the state is unprecedented in the history of the state.
