This was contained in his welcome address presented at the event by the Chairman of Kwara North Stakeholders Consultative Forum (KWNSCF), popularly known as ‘Efunra’, Comrade Abdullahi Lade at the forum for the peaceful co-existence, development for justice-based conduct of 2023 general elections in kwara state.

He disclosed that having found like-minded groups, adding that the think-tank merged with the formidable Kwara State Consultantative Elders’ forum to metaphose into Kwara North Stakeholders Consultative Forum.

He explained that several structural agreements, consultations and meetings was held between the concerned people of the district in regardless of affiliated political parties to actualize it’s Kwara North for governor 2023.

The chairman recognised the the leadership, the cooperation and support of Senator Mohammed Sha’aba Lafiagi on the Kwara North agenda to produce the next governor of the state in come 2023, assuring that kwara north has all what it takes to produce an effective governor.

He confirmed that is a friend to all members of APC, PDP and other parties who were in several forum together in the state, hoping that they still have a lot to jointly do politically, suggesting that Kwara needs to organise a whole meaning conference to fashion out how to leave harmonious life.

In his address at the event, the state Chairman of Kwara Stakeholders Consultative Elders’ Forum, Comrade Bisi Fakayode described the gathering of all members of different political parties for common interest as unique in the history of Kwara State.

He said that the Kwara elders consultative stakeholders forum had promised to support any party that picked candidate from Kwara North, disclosing that the forum have taken decision to full back the candidate whole heartedly.

He advised the elders in the district to put head together and scout for the best among the best to present for the governorship position charging them to seriously go back to their various polling units for comprehensive mobilisation.
He also appealed to all aspirants not to consider the politics as a game of do-or-die affairs in the spirit of oneness.
Also speaking, the former speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon Isa Bio Ibrahim calls for peace, harmonious relationship between the Kwara northerners to jointly fighting for the shifts of power to Kwara North in the forthcoming general elections.
He explained that kwara north is under develop for many years, lamenting that kwara north is being consider as educationally disadvantages zone in the state.

He appealed to all stakeholders to scout for the best among the candidates that seeking for the governorship position and come up with the best that would make kwara north and entire state proud.
The speaker pointed out that kwara north in the past had been blessed with integrity, selfless leaders like late Senator Aliyu Dantoro, Senator Gani, H.A. Kaiama, charging the present day politicians to emulate the past leaders for the progress of kwara north.
While making his remarks, an house of representatives member that represent Kaiama Baruteen at national assembly, Hon. Zakari Mohammad urged all to forgive those who stepped each other toes.
He advocated for strong synergy and speaks with one voice to reach out to Kwara South and Central to support kwara north governorship aspirations, disclosing that both Kwara South and Kwara Central have enjoyed their share of the slot.
In her short speech at the programme, Hajia Fati Kadir urged all political stakeholders, women and youth in kwara north to be on the same page remain united on the struggle to bring governorship to Kwara North.
