2023: Kwara North Advise To Reject PDP’s Antics, Stand By Gov Abdulrasaq – Siano

The electorate in Kwara North Senatorial District have been advised not to allow anyone to take them for ride to achieve cheap popularity through the backdoor by claiming that they like them having failed to improve their lots for sixteen years.

An APC stakeholder from Kwara North and Chairman of the state Water Corporation, Alhassan Siano Woru gave the advice while reacting to move by the state PDP to try to stage a come back through backdoor having failed the state and especially the Kwara North woefully.

He said if the party and it’s leadership were since, why did they field Atunwa to contest for governor after Bukola Saraki’s eight years and Abdulfatah Ahmed’s eight years as governor, both from Kwara Central and Kwara South?
Why didn’t they clamour for power shift then only for them to turn around to claim power shift now when their candidate failed in 1999?

“Would they have called for power shift if it was Atunwa enjoying his tenure, he queried”.

Alhassan said the recent APC stakeholder’s interactive Forum held in Bode Sa’adu headquarters of Moro Local Government Area was a clear manifestation of what the people want and anything contrary should be dismissed with wave of the state.

He commended Governor AbdulRahaman for his people oriented programmes in Kwara North Senatorial District in particular and the state at large, saying he should complete his constitutionality allowed two terms before power could shift to Kwara North.

Alhassan also praised the Speaker of Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Yakub Danladi Salihu for his qualitative leadership, urging him to continue.
The stakeholders however, welcomed the state APC Chairman and appealing to him to do the needful in the best interest of the party and Kwara at large.
