Fire Service Averts Disaster In Kwara

Kwara State Fire Service has averted a fire disaster in a filling station in Ijagbo, Oyun local Government Area of kwara State.

 

This was contained in a statement signed and released to pressmen by the Signed by the HOD, Media and Publicity on behalf of Director Kwara State Fire Service, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle.

 

 

The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday at TEM TEES Filling Station in Ijagbo, Oyun Local Govrrnment Area of Kwara State.

 

 

It was an accidental discharge due to the damaged hose which suddenly got busted during the gas delivery process.

 

 

However, firemen were able to stop the profuse gas leakages on time and neutralize the vicinity area in order to prevent further fire outbreak.

 

 

Therefore, The Director Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa (CFO), urged the general public to be more careful, advising the filling stations to procure all the necessary safety equipments at their various stations.
