A Veteran Journalist, Babajide Otitoju Blows Hot As Zulum Speaks.

A veteran journalist Mr. Babajide Kolade Otitoju blown hot, while speaking on the Friday edition of the popular program “Journalist Hangout” on TVC news, he blown hot as Governor Zulum of Borno state speaks exclusively with Journalist Hangout on why the Nigeria government, and Nigerian Army finds its difficult to defeat the Boko Haram insurgency.

Babajide while speaking further said “ According to Babagana Zulum he stated two cogent points in the course of his interview, he said one of the reason why it is difficult for us to defeat the war is because some people are benefiting from the war.

He said as for me, I have said these many times that I find it difficult to understand why we refuse to take the war to these terror, considering that we know their location and how they operate.

We all know Shekau faction resides inside the sambisa forest. With these it is evident some people are benefiting from the war, that is why they are stopping the military from doing their job.

Secondly, Mr Governor also talked about why the government refuses to allow mercenaries, considering that we lack enough equipment and technology to fight these war alone. I don’t think we have anything to lose by forming coalition with our neighboring countries such as Cameroon, Chad and Niger republic.

We should remember that we have tried these in the past, and it worked especially in 2015 when we worked with the Chadian soldiers to regain some of our territories from Boko Haram.

It is now evident we have so many saboteurs in the system, these people are bent on denying us the will to defeat these insurgency, the government should rise and fish out these saboteurs before these terrors takes over Nigeria from us. We need to take the fight to these terrors, and we should stop being defensive rather we should be offensive.

Governor Zulum has really hit the nail on the head in these interview by stating that we lack enough equipments, technology and also we have a lot of saboteurs in the system. He is in the system and we should not take all his words for granted.

What do you think?
