A 35 year-old married woman suspected to be a thief has been arrested along Ahmadu Bello way G.R.A. Ilorin on Tuesday by angey youth in the area.
According to eyewitness, the woman simply identified as Aishat went to a provisions store disguised as a customer stole while pretending to bu some packs spaghetti, carton of noodles, bags of 10kgs of semovita, 5 liters of grand nut oil and a tin of candy.

A good shamaritan who peaded anomnity watching from the next shop rushed to the scene and ordered the sale’s girl not to collect the money from the suspect, saying that that the whole money would disappear including the money already in the save.
According to the good Samaritan, she knew the suspect for long as a thief who always steal from provision shops around GRA Ilorin.
She explained that she was once duped by the suspect with goods worth over two hundred thousand naira (₦200,000) early this year, adding she has been keeping vigilant on the suspect.
A shop sales girl simply identified as shakirat told our reporters that the suspect came as customer who wants to buy goods from the shop but she was surprised that the woman is a thief.
She stated that the suspect came three times to buy goods from her and after payment was made, the entire money in the save was disappeared after she left.
According to a commercial motorcycle rider, popularly known as okada who was at the scene of the incident who doesn’t want his name in printing, said the woman has been arrested for the same offences on many occasions at different locations in Ilorin metropolis.
The suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigations.
