The Alangua of Awe Village in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State, Alhaji Suleiman Oba Daudu Sambo has commended the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for reconnection of communities’ electricity back to national grid.
Alangua Awe who made this known during a courtesy visit paid to him by some members of Ilorin Emirate Alangua/Magaji Forum led by its Chairman, Alhaji Zuluqurnain Abdulrahman at his ‘Fada’ in Awe on Saturday.
He thanked the governor for his pro activeness on people’s need particularly at grassroots, describing him as a listening governor who always ready to put smiles on faces of downtrodden people.
He said thet governor during his 2919 electioneering campaigns promised to replaced communities electricity poles that was vandalized by unknown men suspected to be thieves, reminding that some years back all service wires that served the entire communities were carted away.
He stressed that severals letters were written to then government to replace the carted away wires but proved abortive, praising governor for listing to their prayers as the economy of the communities will boost.
He elogised the good leadership of Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari as chairman of Kwara State Traditional council, urging all in Ilorin emirate and indeed Kwara State as a whole to give him maximum cooperation and support.
The benefiting communities are Elewuro village, Ogunbo village, Layeri village, Yede village, Alfa village, Budo-gbo Village, Budo-Elegavillage, Budo-atokarin village ,Budo-goronjo village and Budo-Ogundeji village among others.
