The Immediate past President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has commiserated with the Ajia family and Agaka community of Alanamu Ward in Ilorin West local government area, over the death of Alhaji Hassan Atanda Zoro, who died Saturday evening in Ilorin.
This was contained in a condolence message send to the family of late Alhaji Hassan Atanda Zooro by the former Kwara State Governor and former Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki a copy which was made available to nigeriarealnews on Sunday.
Saraki said that until his death, Alhaji Atanda Zooro was a very loyal, active member of the Saraki political group and one of the elders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara Central.
He was a member of the Abubakar Kawu Baraje led PDP Reconciliation and Strategy Committee in Kwara State, describing him as a committed and dedicated loyalist.
The Waziri of Ilorin, said the death of Alhaji Zooro, the late political and community leader, is a great loss to Ilorin, the state, particularly at this crucial time, when his wise counsel and experience are needed to steer the ship of the state.
Saraki extending his condolences to the immediate and extended family of the deceased as well as the entire PDP family in Kwara State, while praying to Almighty Allah to forgive all his shortcomings and grant him a place in Aljanah Firdaus.
