A GSM Films Production has presented meritorious award to some eminent Nigerians in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the youth development and humanity in the society.

The award presentation was part of activities line up for the launching of a TV film series titled “Omo Jabata”.


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Temidire / Motunrayo Commercial Service, Hajia Alimat Abdulrazaq Alal-Hamam was among the dignitaries that received the meritorious award at the event.

The award presentation was part of activities line up for launching of
a TV film series titled “Omo Jabata”.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Temidire Motunrayo Commercial Service, Mrs Alimat Abdulrazaq Alal-Hamam, Magaji Odore, Alhaji Sulyman Saaduden and Alhaji Abdulakeem Abubakar were among the dignitaries who received the meritorious award at the event.


The programme which was organised by GSM Films Productions in conjunction with Nigbati TV and College of Education, Ilorin, was well attended by eminent personalities across the state.


Speaking at the event, the Onijabata of Jabata Land, Oba Alhaji Mustapha Manfolasere Alabi Ajala (JP) advised youth to be focused and dedicated to their endeavours.


He added that every business is lucrative but it depends on how one handles it. “I want to sincerely advise the youth to be serious with whatever they are doing”.


“Youth should not join secret cult, they should not join bad gangs. Even if you don’t to go school, please face whatever trade or business you are doing squarely.

There is need for youth of these days to combine education with vocation. I wish all the youth success in life “,Onijabata advised
He said maker of the film has done tremendously well with the brilliant jobs in the composition of the film, urging him to keep the flag flying.

Responding on behalf of other awardees, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Temidire Motunrayo / Commercial Service, Hajia Alimat Abdulrazaq Alal-Hamam appreciated the GSM Films Production for the recognition which she described as a challenge for her and other awardees.


“The award would spur me to do more on youth and women empowerment”, she added.


Speaking on the TV film series titled “Omo Jabata” that was launched at the event, she said the film is full of educative and inspiring, adding that it is a must watch for every home because of lessons therein.


She disclosed thatTemidire Motunrayo Commercial Service is commercial organization was established five years ago, also deals with landed property as well as transport services and gives interest free loan to small and medium scale businesses.


As part of the programme line up, thousands of youth and women was confirmed to have empowered by the organisation.


The programme was well attended by eminent personalities across the state.
