The National ex-Officio member of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Isa Bawa Adamu has charged Muslims across the world to imbibed the lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Bawa gave the advice in his Eid-il Fitri celebration message in ilorin, urging them to continue to uphold the lessons and teachings of the Holy Month by intensifying on the reading of the Holy Quran even after the Ramadan.
He explained that Allah has ordain us as Muslims to fast for 30 or 29 days in the special month of Ramadan, enjoining Muslims to learn how to adherent to the teachings of Ramadan to live a successful life.
Bawa said Nigerians must continue to preach peace, tolerance and unity for the benefits of all, pointing out that Nigerians must stand against any division that could truncate the peaceful coexistence among ethnicity.
The former Commissioner expressed sadness over the current security challenges in the country, lamenting that it has gone beyond government control.
He Charged Nigerians to rise up and exposed those behind the evil act irrespective of ethnic, religion and political differences, appealing to Muslims faithful to sustained the teachings of Ramadan and emulate the acts and practice of Prophet Mohammed.
He explained that Nigeria is currently passing through a difficult period which requires divine intervention of all to put an end to the incessant herdsmen brutality, banditry, kidnapping and terrorism across the country.
According to him,” We thank Almighty Allah (SWT) for witnessing the end of this year Holy month and we must appreciate Him for keeping us save with His grace.
He however, congratulated Muslims across the globe, wishing them a merciful, successful and happy El-del Fitr celebrations.
