A non governmental charity foundation based in United Kingdom popularly known as BHAMUSON foundation has donated learning materials to two two primary public schools in Oro-Ago and Oyatedo communities in Ifelodun local government of Kwara State.

Speaking during the distribution of learning materials to pupils of Community L.G.E.A Oganyin Oke-Ayin, Oro-Ago and Oyatedo L.G E A, the spokesman for the foundation, Alhaji Gbadebo Lawal said the foundation was formed by 1983 set of Queen Elizabeth School Ilorin.

He explained that after graduation, they met in UK reunited and formed an old students contributing among themselves on the mission to render assistances to the lesspriviled pupils in Nigeria particularly at early stage of their education.

He said the founders deem it fit to give a living aide to those in distress especially the lesspriviled pupils whom their parents cannot afford to pay the tuition fees of their wards in Nigeria in appreciation of what God have made them to become in life.

Alhaji Lawal disclosed that presently the foundation has been able to covered three states in the country, stating that Lagos, Oyo and eight schools has been covered in Kwara and more and would also cover in next few months.

He charged the school’s management to take proper maintenance of the books in a school library for the encouragement of reading culture, advising the pupils to always imbibe the habit of reading culture for the improvement of their knowledge.

He commended the efforts of the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Kayode Alabi for the facilitation the free learning materials to Ifelodun local government for the benefit of downtrodden pupils in Oro-Ago and Oyatedo communities.
Written Items donated to the pupils include text books, exercise books, rulers, pencils, erasers, shapners, matchets school sanders, school bags and school uniforms among others.
The Representative of School Parents Teachers Association (PTA) Mr. James Babatunde Appreciated BHAMUSON foundation for recognising the pupils at local schools, urging the beneficiary pupils to use the items judiciously.
In their separate Appreciation, the Head Teachers of ECWA L.G.E.A, Mrs. Gloria Omobola Lawal and Head Teachers of Community L.G.E.A Oganyin Oke-Ayin Oro-Ago, Mrs. Popoola Bimpe Gloria thanked the foundation for remembering the poor Pupils at the local communities.
