In his words, “As a proud son of the soil I can tell you that it is an open secret that Ilorin is a city of the pious but when you look around, read or listen to the news you hear some things that saddens you. Kidnappings, money rituals, fraud many other things you don’t expect from a pious society is what you hear.

“Agreed, the upsurge in vices is a general thing across the country but the time has come for us to take charge.

“We need to change the narratives so that other communities can learn from us and use us as a yardstick to correct their society too.

“This is the reason why we are coming up with Gbajumo Ilorin Hangout; it will be an avenue for our people to contribute and interact on the way forward in curbing the upsurge of these vices in our society.”
