He commended the proprietor of the school for the support rendered the school since the inception among others sundry issues.
When did you because the Principal of the school?
I became the Principal of the school six years ago and it has not being an easy task because some years back the school lacked of teaching staff teachers and people are not willing to teach because the teaching materials for the teachers were not provided.
But when the present government came on board, things have started improving.
What are the other challenges?
We also have security challenges in their school, the people in Sabo-oke area illegally gained entrance into the school and cart away the school benches and chairs but with the help of the security agents, things like that have stopped.
What are the steps you taken to solve those challenges?
I thanked the church for giving them night guard.
When I came on board, there are so many things I put in place, like the buildings, employment of the day guard is part of my achievements too.
The foundation of the school was good but I put in more I still want to do more efforts for the development of the school, in the school I have students who has represented the state in international quiz and debate competition.
And they are also known for education and sports. They have a lot of medals and trophies and I wants to make sure my students are recognized both in sports and academics.
I have problems with the lateness students and the parents are to be blame for that so the parents should encourage and talk to their wards.
The government has done a great job in improving educational sector in kwara state, compared to other states in Nigeria, but like the “Oliver twist that he will still ask for more, so I urged the government to provide some of the learning and teaching facilities.
I still need to be look into His excellency Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq to do more in the area of education improvement.
What motivated you to become a teacher?
I am a professional teacher before I became a principal I am ready adapted to every learning and teaching activities because they taught in their teaching practice to the sacrifice of humanity.
Some of the practice they acquire they need to apply it and I dropped the task who else should, I made a quote “He who fight and runaway will later fight it another day”.
