The Executive Chairman of Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board, Professor Shehu Adaramaja has disclosed that the Kwara State Government will built a Smart Advance Studies Standard School in the state.
Prof. Adaramaja made this known during his unscheduled visit to Government High School Junior Secondary school (UBE) session in Ilorin on Monday, said the propose school will be located in the premises of Government High School Adeta Ilorin.

He explained that the foundation of the centre will be lay in a couple of weeks at the propose site, pointing out that the contractor that would handle the construction of the project has been mobilised for the commencement of the project.
He further disclosed that the school will consist of standard clinic, ICT, laboratory with other learning facilities and qualified instructors, maintaining that admission of students into the school will be strict”, he said.
Adaramaja charged the teachers under the SUBEB to be committed, rededicated themselves in discharging of their duty, assuring them that their letters of promotion will soon be release with financial backing.
Earlier in her short speech, the principle of the school, Hajia Iyabo Ajoke Salman appreciated the chairman for the visit, praising him on the regular support he has been rendering the school over the years.
She said that the school needs more class teachers in Yoruba, English, Arabic and French, lamenting that the school is lack of enough furnitures for both the staffs and students, stressing that there is no electricity facility in the school.
She appealed to the UBE boss to assist the school in speaking with the contractor handling renovation project in the school to run water pipes to staff and students toilets across the school.
She was however, impressed with the students turnout as welcome test was conducted for the students in the school.
