In Kwara, Two Cattle Rustlers In NSCDC Net, As One At Large


The Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested two cattle rustlers who have been terrorizing some Communities in Kwara State in recent times.

The spokesman of the NSCDC in the State, Babawale Zaid Afolabi stated this in a press release made available to the newsmen in llorin on Wednesday said one other member of the gang is still at large.

“It could be recalled that on November 3rd, 2021 we got a report about one cattle rearer, Rawa Raura Muhammed who was attacked by Abdullahi Ideh, 20, Kadiri Babuga, 24 and Baba Sanda adult.


It was reported that they attacked one Rawa Raura Mohammed with dangerous weapons and left him unconscious and stole his three cows valued at 1.5 million naira.

The CDPRO stressed that the Miyetti Allah Vigilante Group with the joint effort of officers of the NSCDC in the area arrested two suspected cattle rustlers while the third member of the gang is on the run.

“Two of the fleeing cattle rustlers were later arrested along Ahun- Ilkerin Ayuba road by the Miyetti Allah Vigilante group with back up of the officers of the NSCDC in Oro-Ago Divisional CDPRO”, explained.
