Kawu Baraje Appointnent As 2nd Tafida Of Ilorin, A Round Peg In A Round Hole  – Hon. Ogele

The confirment of traditional tittle on the former National Secretary of Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has been described as a well deserved honour.

Hon. Jimoh Abdulwaheed Ogele made this nkown while speaking with journalists in his office in Ilorin on Wednesday, said the Emir carefully appointed the Baraje as 2nd Tafida of Ilorin Emirates.

He also congratulated the former acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Abubakar Kawu Baraje on the appointment.

Hon. Ogele who a Kwara State House of Assembly aspirant from Ilorin North-West State Constituency in 2023  general elections in kwara state, noting that Baraje usefulness to the entire Ilorin Emirate, kwara State and Nigeria as a could not be quantify.

He explained that the appointment of Baraje as the new Tafida of Ilorin at this critical time was as a round peg in a round hole.

Ogele commended the efforts of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Zulu Gambari on his fatherly role in piloting the affairs of Emirates and traditional institute in the state.

He appreciated the Emir gesture for single out all the newly appointees worthy of their traditional titles by entrusting them with a critical position of responsibilities in the Emirates, stressing that the appointment of Mufty, Dan-Madami, Dan-Malami, Dan’iya, Tafida and others are all well deserved.

The hopefully aspirant lauded the former Senate President and National Leader of the main opposition party in the country, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki for his maturity been playing in the country’s political arena.

He however prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Saraki, all his heart desires, protect him in realizing his ambition during the 2023.
