Mallam Ibrahim Abdulganiyu who was reported to have been kidnapped has been released by his abductors on Saturday morning in a bush around Oloru village in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Abdulganiyu gained freedom after two million naira ransom was paid by his family and also demanded for pack of cigarettes, pack of milk, Bovita, pack of can malt and five thousand worth of NTN recharge card.
According to one of the family members who claimed anonimity in a telephone conversation with abductors said they advised the family not play smart with them.
They also told them that two of them are expected to deliver the ransome, threatened that any additional people would lead to the killing of the victim as they at distance monitor their movement from the bush.
It could be recalled that last Friday to be precise, this medium reported the case of kidnapping involved a 35 years old man, Mallam Ibrahim Abdulganiyu of Ga’a Osibi of Alagbado area in Ilorin South Local Government of Kwara State.
Efforts by our reporter to get in touch with the victim proved abortive as he was said to be immidiately rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical treatment after the release due to maltreatment received from the hands of his abductors.
