The Kwara Online Publishers Association of Nigeria (KOPAN) on Friday elected her executives that will be in charge of the association for the next three years.
The election which was conducted at the KOPAN Secretariat, along new Yidi Road Ilorin, saw Hammed Adedayo Said, emerged as the maiden Chairman of the association while the other members of the executives include; Issa Saliu as Vice Chairman, Opeyemi Adeoti elected as Secretary, Alameen Abdukadir as Assistant Secretary, Akinlolu Amin becomes the association Treasurer, Abdullah Abdulganiy will serve as Financial Secretary, Buhari Olanrewaju elected as Welfare Secretary and Sulyman Hameed as Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Electoral Committee Chairman, Rowland Olonishuwa, after the election, charged the new executives to be diligent and committed in their new responsibilities.
The new Chairman in his acceptance speech assured Kwara publishers of an all-inclusive adminstration, while vowing to put in his best to take the association to a great height.
Earlier, the Congress had adopted the Constitution of the association.
