Kwara Gov keeps promise, As Oke- Ero LG Staff Gets Promotion Letters

Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman of Kwara State has recorded another landmark achievement as he has fulfilled yet another electioneering promise to actualise the promotion of council workers across the state.

The workers in Oke- Ero Local Government Council were not left out as the Chairman, Hon Gbenga Yusuf on behalf of His Excellency Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman delivered the promotion letters to the newly promoted staffs at the secretariat in Iloffa.

In a meeting organised by the Chairman to congratulate the staffs on their promotions, he said as part of the electioneering campaign promises of the APC led administration in the state, Mallam Abdulrazaq Abdulraham has deem it fit to fulfil one of the promises.

Hon. Yusuf who reiterated that the welfare of the staffs are of paramount importance to Governor Abdulrahman added that there are lots more to come as the people are the centrepiece of the administration.

The chairman however encouraged them to be more dedicated and diligent with their work to reciprocate the confidence repose in them.

In attendance at the meeting was the DPM, Mrs Toyin Fabiyi, Treasurer Mr Lagbaye, all head of Departments, the NULGE president Comrade Obadimeji and staff officer Mr Idowu.

Comrade Obadimeji while responding to the Chairman’s speech said the workers are grateful for the promise made and kept by the Governor. He however said like Oliver Twist they want more of the promises to be fulfilled.

Mrs. Toyin Fabiyi on behalf of the staffs appreciated Governor Abdulrahman and Hon Yusuf for the good gestures towards the workers.

She prayed for more wisdom and knowledge for the Governor in running the affairs of the state and the well-being of the workers.
