Kwara Gov. Symphatizes With Ajase-ipo Community Over Demised Of Their Royal Father.

 

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Wednesday led top government functionaries, chieftains and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the palace of late Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Alhaji Sikiru Atanda Woleola in Irepodun local government to commiserate with the family and community over the demised of late Olupo of Ajase-ipo.

Members of the high-powered delegation included Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi, Chairman APC caretaker committee Alhaji Abdullahi Samari, Lawyer Kunle Sulaiman, Alhaji L’Aziz Jimoh, Chief Sunday Fagbemi, Senator Suleiman Makanjuola Ajadi, Senator Ahmed Muhammad, Chief James Ayeni, former commissioners in the state Alhaji Abdulmumeen Katibi, Barrister Salman Jawondo, and Alhaji Femi Wahab Agbaje.

In his brief remarks, AbdulRazaq commiserated with the family of the late Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, the entire community and the Igbomina people on behalf of the Kwara State Government and good people of the state, paid a condolence visit to the palace to pray Allaah to give deceased families the fortitude to bear the loss.

While consoling with the family, Deputy Governor of the state, Mr. Kayode Alabi, urged members of the Olupo family to jealously guide the good name of the late monarch, appealing to members of the community to continue to live in peace and harmony for the progress of the community.

Some of the APC chieftains in the state who eulogized late monarch said the traditional ruler served the community and the state to the best of what God Almighty had directed him to do.

Responding onbehalf of others traditional rulers, the Olomu of Omu-Aran, inIrepodun local government, Oba AbdulRaheem Adeoti commiserated with Governor AbdulRazaq over the demise of the first class monarch in the state.

Oba Adeoti extolled the good virtues of the late Olupo and applauded Governor AbdulRazaq for standing by the community during the trying period.President Ajase-Ipo Descendants Union, Barrister Ibrahim Abdulkadir appreciated the governor for leading the crème de la crème of the state to condole the community over the death of the monarch.
