A Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Balogun/Ojomu Constituency in Offa Local Government, Hon. Saheed Olamilekan Popoola has accused the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for fuelling the crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Popoola who made the allegation while featuring on a Radio Nigeria Harmony Station programme, Idofian on Tuesday monitored by NigeriaRealNews confirmed that paralled APC executives has been formed from the state to wards level in the party.
He said the battle line has been drown between the supporters of the Governor and the current state chairman of APC in the state, adding that the Governor has failed to listen to the advice of the progressive minds within party not to divide the APC.
He condemned the dissolution of the state executives council, explaining that all the elected local government executives and the state have been dissolved thereby giving making the Governor to run the state as sole administrator.
He said he regreeted being a member of the 9th Kwara State House of Assembly, pointing out that it was illegal to pay ₦7 million to each of the dissolved state council members.
He described some of self acclaimed elders in the party as selfish with greediness political prostitutes, adding that the so called party elders is misleading the Governor into wrong directions.
The lawmaker however, advised Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to defect to other party and stop destroying APC, daring him to form another party and contest on its platform during next election to appreciate the founder of APC.
