Kwara PDP Take Steps To Coast Home Victory In Ajase-Ipo Ward 1


For every politician, winning election is known not to be a tea party. It requires vote farming, mobilization and bonding with attendant social contract establishment between the would-be candidates of various political parties and the voters.

Decisions of voters are often based on how they are considered an individual seeking votes for elective position could deliver on mandate. Their abilities are discerned from their antecedents and the vision they could make the electorate see along with them. In getting the electorate to share their understanding, there is need for meeting point.

For Alhaji Ahmed Olobi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ajase Ward 1, charity begins at home.


He has chosen Ajase-Ipo Progressive Element (APE) has a platform on which to launch out and galvanize support for his party.

Olobi, a top contender for the Irepodun Local Government Council Chairmanship position, convened APE meeting in continuation of strategic steps geared towards engaging the citizens for familiarization and understanding. He first met the Lagos-based Kwarans on Sunday, 10th April, 2022 at St. Stephen Primary School, opposite Phase 2, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

The gathering, which has semblance of Ajase-Ipo Descendants Union’s convergence, was part of his numerous efforts to galvanize support for his ambition and Party, PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Alhaji Ajibaye Oluomo, a prominent member of Ajase-Ipo Descendants Union, who chaired the interactive session expressed his satisfaction with the PDP contingent lead by Ahmed Olobi for deeming it necessary to consult with with his people as elections are still a little far away. “This is indeed a novel and welcomed initiative” he added.

For PDP in Ajase 1, Olobi takes the lead in reckoning electorate and bonding with them as sure way to victory in the forthcoming Local Government elections and ahead 2023 general elections.
