The Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has been lauded for his quick response to the request of the residents of the community.
The governor was commended for demmeed it necessary to fix Abemi-Koro Sayodun-Itakudimo road and covert across Oja-oba-Pakata road for the easy movement of vehicles.
In an exclusive interview with RealNews, the Supervising site engineer, Engr. Halidu Garba confirmed that the road will be open to the traffic after completion.
He explained that after completion of construction of the drainage, adding that the road will be tarred with atphat.
Speaking with RealNews, Mallam Zakariyau Isiaka Ayinde appreciated the governor for the his response to demand of the community.
He lamented that for over 12 years the community have suffering as a result of bad road and lack of standard drainage.
Also speaking, one of the residents of the community, Mallam Salman Okuta-agidi expressed happy about the construction of the drainage.
He however, appealed to the governor to extend the construction of the drainage to Maikabara Arabic School to connect with Oja-tuntun river.
