Kwara State Teaching Service Commission has commended the senior Principal of Queen Elizabeth College Ilorin, Hajia Sidikat Taye Lawal for her commitment towards the development of the school.
This was contained in a commendation letter signed and presented to the principal in her school on Monday and a copy which was made available to Nigeria RealNews, said it is a sincere profounded gratitude and consideration to the school principal.
“The commission were so impressed by the leadership style of administration of the principal in bringing social amenities to the school. The principal are also able to change the old narratives of the college to beter within the space of two years as school administrator,” the letter read.
According to the letter, the commission felt compelled to go on record and found the principal worthy of commendation, charging her to put more effort on developmental attitude cum activities to ensure rapid growth in the sports, cultural and the academics activities of the school.
In her acceptance remarks, Hajia Sidikat Taye Lawal thanked the commisdion for the recognition and honour done her, assuring that she will redouble her efforts in bringing the school to academics international standards.
She praised the Executive Governor of the State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq for taking the education as one of top most priority in the State.
She said education is witnessing tremendous development during his first tenure, hoping that more of dividend of democracy will get to the door steps of every Kwarans in the second term.
