Kwara Traditional Ruler Appeals For Construction Of Deteriorate Communities Road.

The people of Owode-oja community in Asa local government area of Kwara State have appealed to the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on the construction of deteriorating Elere to Owode-oja village road in Asa local government.
The appeal was made onbehalf of the communities by Alangua of Owode-oja village, Alhaji Umar Kayode Sodiq while chatting with NageriaRealNews reporter at his Fada in Owode-oja, Asa local government on Monday.
He said the road has become a death trap for both commercial and private vehicles that plying the road particularly during the raining season, disclosing that majority of people in the communities are predominantly farmers.
He explained that the commercial activities of people in the area has been badly affected due to the lack of good road, pointing out that the condition of the road deteriorating on daily basis.
The traditional ruler stated that villages like Owode-oja, Aloba, Apo, Kojere, Agbege, Budo-Ijesha, Budo-Alfa and Ipekun Ogbin, Baba-Agba, Bosero, Ogidi in Oyo State among others.
“It has become difficult for our women to carry their farms produce to market for sales. I want to appeal to the State Executive Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to come into our aid by construct our road.
“My people have long suffering for lack of good access road”, he lamented.
He pointed out that the road is not motorable from Elere village to Owode-oja village especially during the raining season, saying the communities would forever be grateful if the road is given governor’s approval for construction this year.
