Kwara State Government has assured kwaran that more roads will be open, upgraded and constructed before the end of 2021 as the dry season approaches.
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available by the Press Secretary, Kwara State Ministry of Works, Sam Bola Onile to journalists in Ilorin on Wednesday.
The Kwara State Ministry of Works will begins the construction of Ansaru-Deen Road Ijagbo in Oyun local government area of the state in the its efforts to prioritise public assets with a view to improve on the socio-economic well-being of the entire citizens of the state.
The State Commissioner for Works, Engineer Suleiman Rotimi Iliasu and Hon. Ojo Olayiwola Oyebode representing Oke Ogun Constituency who were both in Ijagbo on-on the on the spot assessment to confirm the amount of work needed to be done on the projects.
He assured the residents that work will soon commence on the road, disclosing that the ministry has been given approval to immediately begin the construction of the road to provide efficient, convenient and easy travel along the route.
Road users and residents however, advised to exercise patience and drive with caution as the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq continues to make Kwara better for every Kwaran.
