Nigerian Journalist, Seun Dies At 25


Seun Oluwagbemi, a young Nigerian journalist who was a member of the Lagos Journalists League (LJL) died Saturday morning during a brief illness.


Seun was born in November 1995, the Ogun State-born journalist graduated in 2018 after studying Dramatic Arts at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).


Seun worked with Arise News as Entertainment, News and Sports reporter.


The deceased wrote and edited news, managed social media platforms, hosted radio shows and managed stage performances.


During his participation at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme, Seun coordinated activities in the studio and created content for the broadcasting service.


In his final year in OAU, Seun won the Best Director Award. The family is expected to announce burial arrangements.
