Nigerian Leaders Should Lead By Example – Iselewa …As Assembly Of Redeem Marks 7 Years Anniversary

The Senior Minister, Redeemer’s Commission Ministry International, Pastor Gideon Iselewa has charged Nigerian leaders on the need to imbibe an exemplary leadership in the midst of her challenges.

The man of God made this call penultimate Sunday during the 7th years anniversary of Assembly of the Redeemed Int’l held at the Church’s auditorium, Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State.

According to him,’it is high time for us in this country particularly the leaders to lead people to God’s kingdom.’

“At this critical time of our nationhood, we have to turn back to God. Our leaders need to realize that they are not in power on their marking.. They should know that no authority is ordained without the knowledge of God.

” Leaders should use their position to honored God. There are lots of oppression in Nigeria coming from the leaders. This is not good at all. We should have a rethink both the leaders and the led,” Iselewa urged.

While thanking God for a fruitful 7 years of ministration, the man of Gid said the journey in the ministry hasn’t been easy, but God’s grace has sustained the calling.

“Today we are marking the 7 years anniversary of the ministry and to the Glory of God, his has been faithful with us. We started from a one rented apartment and with the faithfulness of God, we are where we are today.

” On that note, we looked back to appreciate what God has done in the last 7 years. The journey has been so challenging part of which is how best to serve God according to his will.

“We are also faced with the challenges of men in the course of the ministry. By the grace of God in this one week, we had our revival program as the CAN chairman was in attendance alongside other men of God,” he said.

He however hoped that the ministry will soon be taken outside the sore of Nigeria as many people have been uplifted spiritually through his ministration.

Also speaking, Mrs. Omoyeni Iselewa charged wives of minister of God in Nigeria to be a good helpmate toward building the expansion of the hubby’s ministry.

“My divine commission is to be a good helpmate and God has given me the grace to do that. When you understand the calls of God upon your husband , you must know your role in his ministry.

” Women have to be involve in their husband’s callings, and they have to prayerfully do that so as to fulfill the purpose of the callings. I was able to understand the callings and God has been great toward that,” Mrs. Iselewa said.
