Nine PDP Adewole Active Members On Indefinite Suspension Over Infidelity

No fewer than nine active members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Adewole ward of Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State were indefinitely expelled from the party over anti party’s activiries centred on needless campaign of calumny against the party by the nine disgruntled members.

Some of the members involved in the said misconduct are Mr. Nureni Omoyooba from Kuntu zone, Yakubu Agodi of Oke-Agode zone, Alao Hakeem of Adeta zone, Tunde Muhibudeen from Kuntu zone.
Others include Mr. Musbau also from Oke-Agodi zone, Tunde Odo from Kuntu zone, Tunde Khalifa, Alagbon Fatimoh and Moshood Elere from Oke are zone were expelled from the party respectively.

Their expulsion from the party followed the thorough investigations of a letter of petition forwarded to Ilorin local government West PDP chairman, Issa Abdulkadir, which later recommended the disciplinary actions against the suspects for their misconduct by their respective ward’s party organs.

The nine members were given fair hearing at their respective ward but later found guilty of gross misconducts, crude and for unpleasantry comment against the party on several Radio stations programme and disrespect the party authorities among others offences.

In his submission, Ilorin West local government chairman, Issa Abdulkadir, explained that the nine members were confirmed to be found culpable on series of anti party activities against them and deemed fit for disciplinary actions as enshrined in accordance with the party constitution.

The party in a resolutoin therefore, cautioned all concerned members to stop parading themselves as members of the party untill further notice or face with full wrath of law.

Nureni Omoyo-oba and others in October 2021 staged unwarranted protest against the party for their failure to be clinche some political offices in their ward through the backdoor. The ward party structures has maintained its stance on allow the wishes of the majority to prevail throughout the party congresses which some of the disgruntled members were opposed.

All efforts made by this medium to get the reaction from suspended group leader, Nureni Omoyo-oba proved abortive as all his telephone lines were not reachable.
