Over Farms Grazing: Cow Boys Macheted Farmer To Death In Kwara.


A middle age farmer, Alhaji Mukaila Ayuba has been macheted to death on his farm at Rijoyin hamlet near Banni village in Kaiama local government of Kwara State on Monday.

According to one of the brothers to the deceased, Mallam Kamarudeen Ayuba who spoke with the RealNews reporter after the burial of deceased at his residence in Ilorin who was said to be working on his farm around 6:pm when the incident happened.

He narrated that a large number of cows grazed on his yams farm by fully armed three Fulani boys, adding that while deceased was trying to caution then not to graze on the farm, they asked him to keep quiet.


Late Ayuba while try to appeal to them direct the cows out of the farm was violently attacked the farmer with classes and macheted at both arms and head to death.
According to him, “deceased was lonely in the pool of blood for several hours in the farm and later died on the spot with out help”, he lamented.
The case has been reported at Banni police station for further Investigations.
Deceased has been buried at his residence in Ilorin the Kwara State Capital on Tuesday according to Islamic rites and he was survived by his aged mother, wife, children and relations.
