Prince Lameed Otunola Salami, has felicitated with the Muslims Community in Ajase-Ipo in Irepodun local government area of kwara state to mark the beginning of Ramadan fasting.
Otunola in a commemoratory messages congratulated Muslims for witnessing this year Ramadan fast, which, he said, is one of the cardinal pillars of Islam.
He said the Holy month is a time for renewed purification, forgiveness and kindness towards the others with a reflections of last year challenges that affected everyone.
He urged all Muslims to move beyond the abstinence required by Ramadan and demonstrate gratitude to Allah by showing concern and kindness for the less privileged in the society.
He also asked Muslims in Ajase-Ipo to pray for the town, Kwara and Nigeria as a whole to overcome her current challenges so that the country and its people can prosper in a safe and peaceful environment.
“I seeks for Almighty Allah guiandiance, blessings, sound health and prosperous years ahead for all Ajase-Ipo indigens both at home and in diaspora”, he prayed.
He described Ramadan period as a best to seeks for Allah forgiveness, blessings, sound health, mercy, knowledge and more wisdom to face the challenges of life.
