Ritualist In Police Custody, Quizzes Over Missing House Wife In Ilorin
Residents of Guniyan community have apprehended a ritualist suspected to be a Kidnapper at Guniyan area, Alore in Ilorin West Local Government of Kwara State on Wednesday.
The ritualist, simply identified as Baba Kofo alledged to the where about of nursing mother, Mrs. Usman Muminat left his matrimonial home on Tuesday.
According to investigations conducted by the youths in the area, claimed that Muminat who is mother of four was last seen in the house of the suspect who didn’t came out from the suspect’s house until she was declared missing and declared wanted by his husband.
According to one of eyewitness who resides in the community who claimed Anonymity, said the suspect was rounded up by some youth while trying to enter his house with a polythene bag suspected to have contained fresh human flesh.
The source further said that residents in the community have been on surveillance on suspect’s movements for quite some times as the area has recorded four missing people in the community recently.
According to the source, “What was met in the suspect’s house was a gory as fresh human blood was found in local calabash, different sizes of children school uniforms, clothes of both men and women of various types.
Speaking with NigeriaRealNews, the father of the victim, Alhaji Hanafi Babatunde said at about 11:pm on Tuesday, he received a distressed call from the husband of the victim that his wife has not yet return home.
“I thought he was a joke, until next day when he again called that his wife has not being seen since yesterday, declared that she told him that she is going for her sister naming ceremony at Agaka.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the incidence but can not for now assure the nature of the case as the case is still under investigation as directed by the commissioner of police.
