Security: KWSG Collaborates With Nigerian Army, As Gen. Abdulsalam Relocate To Vobera Forest

In a proactive resolve to prevent infiltration of bandits into Kwara state through the boundary at the Vobera forest in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq in collaboration with the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi barracks cordon all boundaries in the state.

In view of this development, the Brigade Commander, 22 Armoured Brigade, Nigeria Army, Sobi barracks, Ilorin, Brigadier General Abdulsalam Abubakar has relocated from Sobi barracks to the Vobera forest in Kaima Local government, in the northern part of the state.

The development is to cordon off Kwara and stop the infiltration of militants from Niger State as the exercise will also continue in other entry points across the state for the safety of lives and property.

Brigade Commander 22 Armoured Brigade (Sobi Barracks) Bridgedier General Abdulsalam Abubakar is leading his officers and men to comb the Vobera forest in Kaiama axis of kwara state to prevent the incursion of bandits into the state as well as flush out any criminal elements from the state of harmony.
