Sen. Oloriegbe Facilitates ₦12.2m Science Equipment To GHS Ilorin

The senator representing Kwara Central at National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has presented Science Equipment worth over 12.2 millions naira to the Government High school (Junior School) Ilorin Thursday at the school premises.

Presenting the equipment to the school Principal on behalf of the senator, Engr. Jimoh Ajani Olareeaju said the senator labiratory equipment will improve the teaching of Science subjects and enhancing students performance.

He lamented that the past administrations neglected the provision of learning materials to school’s, praising Senator Oloriegbe for provision of jobs and empowerment for his constituents.
He urged the teachers to make judicious use of equipment, adding that the equipment will be given reqular routine check for proper maintenance of equipment.

Speaking at the event, the Ilorin West Local Government Education Secretary, Hajia Afusat Funmilayo Usman thanked the Kwara State Governor for the payment of UBEC counter part funds, while praising Senator Oloriegbe facilitating of the equipment.

She cautioned both the teachers and students on effective use of the equipment for long duration, hoping that the equipment will serve better for it purpose.

In her remarks, the Principal of the school, Hajia Iyabo Salman thanked Senator Oloriegbe for enlisted the school among benefiting schools in Ilorin, assuring that the equipment will be maintaing and judiciously use.

Present at the event are school vice principals, teachers, students PTA chairman, SBMC chairman, representative of the community, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adewole ward, Mallam Amuda Abe, APC Adewole youth leader, Mallam Manshood Salman and Mallam Abdulmajeed Abdulwahab, S.A on non-governmental to the senator, Mallam Asinmi Hadi and the representative of Alangua Adewole among others.
