The Queen School Principal, Taye Lawal and the Multiple Merit Awards

The Principal of Queen Elizabeth School Ilorin has been awarded with many merit, professional and comrade awards in Kwara and beyond for excellent outstanding performance on her chosen career.
Hajia Sidikat Taye Lawal was born in Ilorin over five decades ago to the family of a retired Police Officer, Alhaji Abdulsalam Yusuf and Hajia Fatimoh Yusuf of Agbade’s compound Abayawo area in Ilorin West Local Government of Kwara State.
She started her elementary education at NEPA staff school, New-Bussa in Niger state and finished at Baptist Primary school Surulere Ilorin and she gained admission to Queen Elizabeth School Ilorin, the first prestigious female secondary in the northern region.
She also admitted to Kwara State College of Education Ilorin where she read English / French languages for her National Certificate on Education ( NCE), from there, she went to University of Ilorin where she read educational guandiance and counseling graduated with second class division.
She had worked in many places before she was appointed as the principal of Queen Elizabeth School include, Baboko community secondary school, Banni community secondary school, Ansarul Islam Secondary School
Others are, Idofihan Community Secondary School, Sheikh Abdulsalam Secondary School as a school counselor and she was appointed as vice special duties principal Mandate Secondary School, Adewole Ilorin.
Among the awards received by Hajia Sidikat Taye Lawal are Institute of Human and Natural Resources Professional Recognition, Rotarian Club of Ilorin Exemplary Leadership Award, Iya-oge of Egbe-akomolede Yoruba,.
Others are, outstanding Mother of the year award presented by Kwara People Magazine, merit award of excellence by Kwara State Association of Land and Estate Agents, Yeye-oge award presented by Adventist Secondary School, Shao Among others.
A rotarian per excellent, she served two terms tenure as chartered Assistant governor of Fate neighbourhood rotary club, vice President of Ilorin rotarian, married and blessed with children.
She now penciled down as one of recipients of National award that would be honour with others eminents Nigeria for Patriot Education Exemplary Award on Saturday 31st July, 2021 at National Award House, Abuja.
