UK Based, BHAMUSON Charity Foundation Gives Lessprivileged Pupils Scholarship In Ilorin

A non-governmental Organisation, BHAMUSON Charity Foundations based in United Kingdom (UK) has again this year redeemed it’s pledged in support of the lessprivileged pupils in the society with scholarships.

Speaking on behalf of others beneficial schools, the Headteachers of Adeta ‘B’ LGEA school, Mallam Issa Ayinde Jimoh appreciated the foundation for the scholarship given to the selected lessprivileged pupils of the school.

He said the both the pupils and the parents appreciated the foundation concerned over the child education particularly downtrodden ones in the society, hinted that foundation has been uninterrupted responsible for school bills and other logistics of the students for over five years.

He remarked that the students have reciprocal by performing excellently in their academic and others extra corriculium activities in the school, praising the foundation for giving back to the society especially in the area of child education.

In her appreciation, one of the parents who witnessed the presentation, Madam Onikepe Falilat thanked the foundation for the assistance and supports rendered to the lessprivileged parents on the students.

She said “Most of us cannot afford to buy school uniforms, school sandals, school bags, excercise books, text books, let a lone pocket money for our students when going to school”.

She elougised the BHAMUSON charity  foundation for provision of free school uniforms, school sandals, school bags and writing materials for the students over five years, commending the teachers for the supportive roles at all the times.

Earlier in his speech at short presentation ceremony, the Kwara State Cordinator for the foundation, Alhaji Gbadebo Lawal said the BHAMUSON foundation concerned about the child education, expressing the great importance the foundation attached to lessprivileged child’s education in the society.

Alhaji Lawal presented cash to three beneficial heads of school at their respective schools in Ilorin West Local Government said the foundation has taken the financial responsibility of paying the school fee, provision of school uniforms, school Sandals, school bags, writing materials and text books for some selected downtrodden pupils in primary schools in the society.

He advised the parents to take their own responsibility very serious in making sure their wards get to the school at approximate time and make the neatness of their child as mandatory assignments every hour, reitrating the commitment of the foundation to raise standard of education in kwara state.

He maintained that BHAMUSON is taking its own parts, urging parents as well to rise up to the challenges of proper feeding and being at supportive side of their ward at all the times morally and academically for them to execll in life.

Schools presented with cash scholarships include Adeta ‘B’ LGEA school, Apalara/Adewole LGEA school and Oke-Apomu school ‘B’ LGEA both in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Mrs. Hauwa Nuru and Mrs. Sheila Abia-Okon are Founders/Trustees of the Foundation, they are both Old students who met in UK after graduation from Queen Elizabeth School Ilorin in 1982.
