The newly constituted Transition Implementation Committee (TIC) for Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State have been advised to work as a team with council chairman for them to record success for rapid developnent of the local government.
The advice was given by the former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilorin South Local Government, Alhaji Nasir Alkali during a courtesy visit to his residence in Ilorin on Friday.
He said they were appointed by the Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the smooth running of their local government administration, urging them to face the purpose of their appointment.
He charged them not to create caucus within themselves to accommodate each other with large heart of friendship by speaking with one voice in council, appealing to them to work with their chairman for better achievements.
“Divided we fall and in united we stand”, he said.
Earlier, in his appreciation on behalf of others members, the Secretary of the Local Government, Mallam Olarewaju Toyeeb Alaya thanked the former APC chairman for his support, saying that the council will looks forward for more support.
“The TIC members will always receive his fatherly and political advice for the progress of the party and developnent of the local government. Will want to assure you that your positive advice would be taken”, he assured.
Among the visitors include the Vice person of the council, Hajia Kudirat Sanni, the Secretary of the council, Mallam Olarewaju Toyeeb Alaya, Mallam Saidu Aliyu, Hajia Kuburat Lateef and Mallam Busari Taofeeq.
